V&A Village Fete
Event

Curated by Scarlet Projects, this annual event is a contemporary take on the traditional village fete. 20-30 designers and design groups are invited to conceive and host stalls that allow the public to experience and interact with design in an informal and fun way.

WH Stiffs:

We created an extremely low-tech photo booth where visitors could have their Polaroid portrait taken as a magazine cover star. They had a choice of four different set-ups: Vogue, Playboy, National Geographic and Creative Review. The mastheads were hand cut from plastic and suspended in the magazine-shaped holes. When someone stood behind the set, they magically became the photograph on the cover. The stall was a great success, with many fans coming back for multiple portraits.
