Paper Engineering is a 160 page hard cover book published by Rotovision containing hundreds of examples of paper engineered graphic design ­ and we used paper as a theme throughout.We photographed all work included in the book on coloured paper backgrounds, and complemented these shots with text boxes that sit on scanned pieces of paper. The cover and divider pages are photographs of words handmade from complex paper structures, with the construction method relevant to each chapter (the 'Fold' section is introduced with words created from folded strips of contrasting sided paper). With the book also being re-printed in other languages, these sections were designed to incorporate all the prospective languages in the paper structures.
