This poster advertised a supporting, on-site exhibition at the Grafic Europe design conference in Barcelona in 2003. Eleven established designers and design writers each nominated a new designer whose work excited them, and in turn these new eleven were asked to design a poster each.

We created the main identity and promotional material for the ensuing exhibition by using a different typeface and colour to write the names of each nominator / nominee pair, then deconstructing and linking back together the two typographic elements.

For the exhibition itself, we printed smaller versions of each nominated designers' poster and stapled them onto display structures. Onto each structure we attached a large version of another designers' poster. They created frameworks for each other. The fly-poster style display, coupled with the crude method of attaching the posters with staple guns, created a fresh contrast to the slickly designed building housing the conference, and was more in keeping with the introduction of these young emerging designers.
